Timothy Walker is an emerging music artist who embarked on his creative journey in 2010. A native of Memphis, TN, Tim attended Memphis Central High School and showcased his talents in a variety of venues with prestigious ensembles, including the All-West TN Band and Choir ensembles and the All-State Band and Choir.
During his time at Jackson State University, Tim participated in the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Marching Band. He forged connections with prominent music entities such as Sony Music Entertainment, the Memphis Music Initiative, and Memphis Slim Collaboratory, which helped him expand his skills and explore diverse career paths.
Tim graduated from Jackson State University with a Bachelor's in Music Technology. He currently serves as the ORFF Music instructor at John P. Freeman Optional School in Memphis, TN, where he also co-directs the band, instructs drums, and leads the jazz band. Passionate about music education, Tim believes that every musician deserves the guidance and leadership needed to refine their craft and reach their full potential.
